Gujarati Samaj of Tri State is a non-profit 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization serving the South Jersey area. Our mission is to promote and preserve the rich Indian culture heritage and traditions through various events throughout the year. Our events are open to the entire community, irrespective of their race or religion.

Our annual signature event is “Anand Mela”– a celebration of various cultural dances, is held in late spring or early summer at Lenape High School. This year it will be on June 2nd, 2019. This event has been organized annually for the past nine years. Every year the number of participants has been increasing significantly. Everyone enjoys the event.

“Anand Mela” a celebration of dances, provides a platform for more than 125 participants. Dancers from the different dance schools and academies in South jersey, which have been nurturing and promoting ancient Indian dance forms over the years, participate in this event. These schools and academies are in many ways ‘Champions of the Indian heritage.’

It will be very difficult for us to organize these events now and in the future, without financial support from the community. Therefore we sincerely request your participation in our efforts to spread love and harmony through sponsoring our events.
